Also on this show, we cover and analyze all that occurred at last Saturday night's UFC fight card on Spike TV. Who did Carson think deserved the bonus for best knockout? Who received the Carson Submission of the Night Award? What does the future hold for Evan Tanner?

The listener email segment is even crazier than usual. A writer gives us his update on Gerald Strebednt and Carson issues a cautionary rebuttal. This and more are available to you right here and right now!

Don Frye is back on Carson's Corner with a vengeance. You will not hear an interview like this anywhere else. This is a one-of-a-kind talk between Frye and Carson.

Is Frye fighting Minowa? If he is, it's news to him.
What is Frye's stance on gay marriage? Listen to this show to find out.
Frye is in an upcoming movie with Johnny Depp. What is his opinion of Depp?
Why does Frye call Joe Silva "brainless?" Frye explains in this show.
What is Frye's take on his fist-fight with Sonny, the bouncer for Leland Chapman? You'll get a kick out of his explanation.

Don Frye is on fire and in rare form. He is possibly the most entertaining man in MMA, outside of Bob Carson. Put the two together and it's an instant classic.

After this classic interview, Bob gets into some news and rumors, where he discusses, among other things, Tim Sylvia's dating life, Shawn Thompkins' upcoming fight and the Anderson Silva vs. James Irvin fight. Finally, Elvis Sinosic mails in and gets Bob's attention in the listener email segment.

If you're a fan of outspoken people who hold nothing back, then you'll love listening to what Mark had to say. He truly held nothing back in this interview. You're going to need to hear it to believe it. Pavelich had quite a bit to say about Pete Spratt, Gary "Big Daddy" Goodridge, Monte Cox, Joe Rogan and others.

In addition to the Carson-Pavelich summit, Bob talks about EliteXC, the movie "Redbelt," the latest from Cage Rage and has an added news item on Andy Geer (formerly of Cage Rage). Finally, as always, listener email is addressed.

C.B. joins Carson in the world-famous Carsontagon™, the ultimate intellectual proving ground, to take on his most dangerous opponent yet! Can C.B. survive the unpredictability that "The Broadcasting Prodigy" Bob Carson brings each and every week?

C.B. takes on all questions in this interview - including tapping out Rampage, fighting inside sandwich shops, his feuds with Cale Yarborough and Jeremy May, the "Shining"-type insanity of the TUF house AND the never-before-revealed origin of those matching shades he and Matt Riddle were wearing in the hot tub.

As if that wasn't enough, Carson also discusses the newly-signed Heath Herring vs. Brock Lesnar fight, the disappearance of Dave "Ghost" Hojak and a potential war inside the cage between Forrest Griffin friend and confidante Frank Bishop and MMA "superagent" Ken Pavia!

Two days before his UFC fight, Rich "No Love" Clementi guests on Carson's Corner!

Rich "No Love" Clementi is set to take on Terry Etim this Saturday at UFC 84 . On the eve of weigh-ins, he entered Carson's Pit for perhaps his toughest challenge of the week. Clementi is coming off a win over highly-regarded Sam Stout at UFC 83 and is jumping straight back into the octagon a month later.

Clementi breaks down Etim and talks about how he sees the fight going. This is a great chance to hear a top fighter discuss his opponent in detail just before the fight.

Rich also talks about the background of his long-running dispute with Melvin Guillard, his time on The Ultimate Fighter television series, serving his country in the Navy, his take on Penn vs. Sherk, fighting in Japan and much more.

After the interview, Bob discusses a new Tennessee promotion, Gameness Fighting Championships, as well as the low ratings for the UFC 84 preview show on Spike TV and what that might mean for the pay-per-view numbers. Finally, Carson's Corner closes with yet another eclectic mix of listener emails.

Mixed martial arts veteran Brad Imes will challenge Roy Nelson for the IFL heavyweight championship as part of the nine-bout card as that organization returns to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on Friday, May 16. As he makes his final preparations, Imes was kind enough to sit down for a talk with Bob Carson in order to give the fans an update on his career.

This is NOT your typical MMA interview, however. Brad doesn't just talk his upcoming fight in this interview. You're going to hear Imes talk about who he supports for president, how he would deal with illegal immigration and his own political ambitions. Imes is very interested in politics, and this interview is sure to spark a lot of debate.

After the Imes interview, Bob talks about yesterday's Cage Rage fight card. Join the show to hear feedback on Ian Freeman vs. Paul Cahoon, Matt Ewin vs. Mark Epstein, Ross Pointon vs. Ross Mason, news on Paul "Semtex" Daley and more. You will hear Wiuff's thoughts on being crowned champion of YAMMA's tournament and what the future holds for him. Bob was able to catch up with him for a brief word after Wiuff's three-fight night. Be sure to catch this interesting chat.

A more lengthy interview was conducted with Perretti, who, as usual, has an opinion on everything. Perretti was the matchmaker for the UFC until 2001. Before that, he made the matches for Battlecade Extreme Fighting. He has been around the sport for years and is not afraid to share his observations. It's fair to say that he doesn't share the perspective of many of today's newcomers to the game.

In addition, Bob breaks down part of the card for UFC 83, including Lutter vs. Franklin, Bisping vs. McCarthy and Starnes vs. Quarry. You also won't want to miss the Carson perspective on websites like fiveouncesofpain.com. That site earns Bob's wrath this week and he's pulling no punches!

Over 3,000 people downloaded Carson's Corner last week! Tune in to hear what you've been missing.

Shonie Carter sounds off!

Sometimes, an interview goes off-script and you're left with radio gold. Such is the case this week on Carson's Corner. The short summary of this show is this: Shonie Carter is on fire and talking about anything and everything he wants to bring up.

Bob Carson and Shonie Carter sat down for an interview, primarily to discuss Shonie's May 30 bout against Victor Moreno on the Primetime Fighting Championships card. Shonie did discuss the bout and did discuss his disdain for Moreno, but he went into much, much more.

Mr. International talks with Bob about Dana White, how he feels he is perceived by Zuffa, his time as a U.S. Marine, the racial diversity that will occur in MMA in the future, his true fight record, Matt Serra, Georges St. Pierre and so much more that you're just going to have to listen to this interview to understand the scope of what Shonie had to say.

This is an interview that is sure to be discussed for years.

Bob also discusses YAMMA, the UFC fight card on Spike TV last week, the season premiere of TUF season 7 and quite a bit more.

Carson's Corner 3/26/08

Jacob Stahler, perhaps better known as The Mouth of the Midwest, joins Carson's Corner this week to discuss his new fight promotion (http://www.primetimefc.com/). Stahler has established himself as a personality in the fight game, and made his initial mark as a much sought-after fight announcer. He's very respectful of the sport and the fighters, and his Primetime Fighting promotion is being received very warmly by the MMA community.

In addition, Bob will discuss the Combat Fighting Championships, which allegedly will have David Loiseau, Jeff Monson, Ricco Rodriguez and others on its card in England. The promotion earns itself a "Carson Caution," as Bob identifies some potential red flags and analyzes their bold claims! How legit is the CFC? Tune in to Carson and find out!

Maryscott sounds off!

Political Talk with Bob Carson is here!

For those of you not familiar with his work to date, Bob Carson is already arguably the most entertaining and incisive personality in the world of combat sports broadcasting. Not satisfied with conquering the world of professional fighting, Carson now turns his satirical and analytical gaze to politics, pop culture and current events with explosive and inimitable results!

Check out Carson's new show, featuring a no-holds-barred interview with My Left Wing.com's Maryscott O'Connor. O'Connor joins Carson and shares her thoughts on the current primary elections, the future of both parties AND her fellow political pundits. Then O'Connor and Carson brutally vivisect Michelle Malkin and other right-wing talkers for the sake of entertainment AND science, before Maryscott offers some stern words for Hillary Clinton and a frank assessment of her campaign. You won't want to miss this Carson-filled extravaganza of sonic enlightenment!

As if that wasn't enough, Carson flies solo and breaks Glenn Beck, Malkin and any target which draws his ire into an unidentifiable protoplasmic substance able to feel only shame! Afterwards, Carson shares his thoughts on Ralph Nader before setting the record "straight" about Hugh Jackman. You might have lived without CARSON until now, but following this show you'll wonder how you ever managed!
